Join us at the Grey Swan Inn,
more like home than other hotels in Blackstone, VA

Dear Friends, we are pleased to announce The Grey Swan Inn is now under new ownership! The new owner, Charles Smith, has been in the hospitality business since 2013 and has always dreamed of owning a small, historic inn just like The Grey Swan. He has also spent many years in Virginia (as a student at Virginia Tech and VCU, as well as an employee at Altria Group) so although not a native son, he knows the state well and is excited to be back! If you are planning to visit Blackstone in the future, we strongly recommend coming back to the Grey Swan! Charles has an amazing vision for the property (especially the backyard) and we couldn’t be more excited to see how he takes this historic home to the next level. Check the Guest Rooms for booking and availability. If you would like to contact Charles directly, his number is 561-430-0662.

Looking for a hotel in Blackstone VA but want something a bit more like home and with great value? The Grey Swan Inn Bed and Breakfast in Blackstone, with its front porch swing, aroma of freshly brewing coffee, and self serve breakfast selections is the place for you! Our Inn, is decorated with locally sourced antique pieces, some of which may have graced its rooms in its early years. We even have a couple of claw-foot tubs to take our guests back in time! This turn-of-the-century home also gives you access to the most up-to-date lodging amenities like Wi-Fi, DISH Network satellite TV, mini fridges in each room, and private en-suite bathrooms. Because travel safety is so important, guests are happy to know that each room is accessed from an inside central hallway.

Relax on the porch with a cup of tea or chat with new friends. While Blackstone, located 50 miles southwest of Richmond, Virginia’s capital, is a sleepy little town, there are a surprising number of things to do, including a leisurely stroll through our historic downtown, shopping for furniture, antiques and collectibles, or attending nearby theater performances.
